ask a girl out.

7 Apr

If you are married or dating, you should ignore the advice in this post, lest you be unfaithful – which is not what a grown man does.

If you’re a single man, buck up and ask that girl out on a date.

“What are you talking about, Grown Man? I don’t have a girl I’m interested in!”

Yes you do. Every single guy reading this has a lady in waiting. And it’s time for you to a)admit it, and b)ask her out.

In our modern culture, it has become passé for a guy to be somewhat forward with a possible lady-friend. Maybe we’re afraid of rejection, maybe the women’s movement (which is a great thing) has caused us to believe that women don’t want to be pursued, maybe you’re just a big baby? Let me assure you of one thing, women want you to be confident. They want you to have the courage to, at least, invite them out for coffee and an overpriced indie movie. To them, this initial courage translates into, “If he cares enough to face rejection, maybe he cares enough to have one-million babies with me.” Yahtzee.

I know it’s scary and she might say no. But look at it this way, if she does reject you, at least you’ll have a good reason for playing Call of Duty 4 on a Friday night, alone, again, for the 10th week in a row.

You must really send this out to all the grown immatured men and do us women a favour….Seriously, why men refrain from asking a girl her phone number, then asking her out for a date….Women love men who can stand up for themselves, take initiative…in short as it is famously quoted ” Be a Man “

PERFECTLY said! My sentiments exactly, except for the one-million babies part.. replaced with he thinks I’m worth the chance…

Fair point, mct88. Sometimes I get a little overzealous from my ivory-tower!

Oh, yes! God forbid that the guy could have the woman show that she thinks he is worth the chance. Women do not even want the guy to be able to know that. How convenient!

Women want it both ways, everyday, all the time, just so long as it suits THEM! Men take all the risks, gee, that’s fair! How stupid are we supposed to be?
